In 2008, CSOP Asset Management Limited (“CSOP”) became the first offshore entity to be set up by a regulated Chinese asset manager. Sustainbility & responsibility
As a socially conscious industry leader, CSOP promotes the sustainable growth of the financial services industry and ensures a continuous contribution to the community. Under the leading call of CSOP, the Chinese Asset Management Association of Hong Kong (“HKCAMA”) was of officially established on September 5, 2013 to serve as a bridge between regulators and practitioners. The self-regulated organization consists of more than 70 members of Chinese asset managers in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, CSOP also strives to contribute to the local community, funding and raising awareness for disadvantaged groups.

With a team of over 70 professionals, CSOP has established comprehensive product lines. In the active space, CSOP offers Greater China themed equity/fixed income funds. On the passive side, CSOP issued nearly 30 ETFs/ETPs worldwide to help investors capture the investment opportunities in different categories. Thanks to its outstanding performance, CSOP has built a strong presence among global clients, including sovereign funds, pension funds, insurance companies, family offices, banks, etc. As of the end of December 2020, the total assets under managed was about US$10.1 billion.

10th Anniversary of CSOP Asset Management

CSOP launched the world’s first Hang Seng Tech Index tracking ETF -- CSOP Hang Seng TECH Index ETF(3033.HK).
As the first batch of participants, CSOP joined the symbolic Hong Kong – Shen Zhen ETF Cross-listing Scheme, under which CSOP Yinhua CSI 5G Communications Theme ETF (3193.HK) and the feeder ETF investing in ICBC CSOP S&P NEW CHINA SECTORS ETF (3167.HK) were listed on HKEX and SZSE respectively.
CSOP Asset Management Pte. Ltd. (CSOP SG) listed the first ETF on Singapore Exchange (SGX), which was also the world’s largest Chinese pure government bond ETF**.

CSOP Source FTSE China A50 ETF was listed on the London Stock Exchange as the first Europe RQFII ETF.
CSOP Bloomberg China Treasury + Policy Bank Bond Index ETF was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as the first RQFII Bond ETF globally.
CSOP FTSE China A50 ETF was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange as ETF-JDR.
CSOP FTSE China A50 ETF was listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited in August. This is CSOP’s 2nd RQFII fund product.
Launched CSOP Shen Zhou RMB Fund in Hong Kong in February. This is CSOP’s 1st RQFII fund product, as well as our 1st public fund product.
Two UCITs IV compliant private placement funds, focusing on RMB high yield and Greater China equities respectively, were registered and launched in Luxembourg.
